02 / Design
Each figure was hollowed with drain holes hidden under the base, and supports were placed by hand so no contact point landed on a face or a weapon edge.
03 / Printing Process
Printed at 0.03 mm on an MSLA machine, eight figures per plate. Washed in IPA, cured under UV, then supports were removed under magnification.
04 / Final Result
Print-to-shelf in five days per batch with no visible support scarring. The studio now runs restocks in batches of forty.
Four moments from the job, in the order they happened.
A sectioned heart printed in clear and tinted resin for a teaching hospital, with chambers that separate to show internal structure.
A five-axis desktop manipulator printed as fourteen interlocking parts, designed so every joint could be serviced without cutting anything apart.
A 27:1 reduction stage printed in carbon-filled nylon, running continuously on a test rig for over two hundred hours without measurable backlash growth.
